Assistant Vice President, GI Technical Underwriting & Portfolio Management
About the Company:
- A market-leading Insurer focusing on General Insurance
About the Job:
- Lead the Portfolio Management team and perform regular statistical portfolio reviews and analyses on various product lines (with a key focus on Property, EC, Motor, and SME) as well as distribution channels.
- Work closely with the Regional Actuarial team to identify adverse trends and business opportunities, providing senior management with recommendations to enhance sustainable profitable business growth.
- Establish sustainable pricing modules and quotation engines for new and revamped products to achieve cost efficiency.
- Provide technical underwriting support to underwriting and business teams on all classes of GI, with a key focus on Property, EC, Motor, and SME.
- Participate in projects aimed at enhancing data infrastructure to achieve digital transformation.
- Handle enquiries from the regional office and local authorities.
Requirement & Qualification:
- University graduate, preferably with ANZIIF / ACII.
- 8+ years of Underwriting experience in Commercial Lines.
- Solid knowledge in portfolio management and underwriting principle & pricing.
- Be mature and self-motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
